PanCareSurPass at 7th ERN PaedCan General Assembly

May 21st, 2021|

PanCareSurPass Research Manager Dr. Riccardo Haupt (IGG) presented PanCareSurPass at the 7th ERN PaedCan General Assembly meeting on 20 May 2021. ‘European Reference Networks’ (ERNs) are a European Union initiative to facilitate cooperation across national health systems for the benefit patients. The ERN PaedCan is tackling 'inequalities in childhood cancer survival by providing high-quality, accessible and cost-effective cross-border healthcare to children and adolescents with cancer, regardless of where they live.' European wide implementation of the SurPass, driven by projects like PanCareSurPass, supports this mission by providing a digital tool to support high-quality person-centred care for survivors of childhood and adolescent cancer in the long-term. Many PanCareSurPass partners are also involved in the ERN PaedCan, which is coordinated by CCRI. Stakeholder representatives from SIOP Europe and CCI Europe play key roles and many of our clinics are network members (KU Leuven/UZ Leuven, IGG, VULSK, HULAFE).

PanCareSurPass Kicks Off!

March 5th, 2021|

We're delighted to have started the project! Project partners met virtually from 04 - 05 March 2021 to make plans for the first six months of work. We'll be starting with a pre-implementation study in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Lithuania and Spain to look at different factors that will impact on the implementation of the Survivorship Passport. The results of this work will feed into the development of an Implementation Strategy, as well as inform the development of SurPass v2.0. Be sure to follow us on social media for all our latest news!
